Now we got real winter

Temperature between -20 to -26 C both days and night in Nordmarken. All smaller lakes are frozen but some of the larger ones where we use to paddle are still open. There is a good deal of snow north of the Canoe Center in Risviken and I have spent 2 days tracking wolf. Found track after one adult yesterday and today fresh after one adult and one smaller wolf. 4 wolves were seen yesterday in the morning just near a road. But they were goner when I arrived.

The wolf track photo is from last years to day was difficult to take good photos in the very new snow from last night. Do hope the winter will stay some more weeks until the Extreme winter Survival training is done by some friends who is coming back in a few weeks.
