Today the
first of September the last canoe came back to base Camp North short after
midday. 10 Weeks with groups from Belgium is now to the end. A summer with
extreme good weather. Lots of sun, only a few days with a little rain and wind.
Happy to notice this season we have had only one episode with 4 canoers capsized
in heavy wind. Resque boat, ambulance and helicopter were involved in the
operation, but everything went well. The rescue systems with emergency tracker
send us an emergency signal and 112 was alarmed.

with Route de Solei have been very good and there staff and ECHO team have done
a tremendous good job at Base Camp and on tour. 
Today a new
group running the DUKE of Edinburgh Award from England started with two senior
guides who have been our guests at least 10 times or more.
