Moose hunting is over

Five days of Moose hunting is over in Risviken. We got 5 large moose’s and 3 calves and one of the adults was a big bull with ten antlers. Weather was good the first days, but the last day snow and rain and a bit cold to sit on the stand waiting for the moose to come in the shooting sector. As far as I know the wolf pack north of us has little influence. We had several animals that pass the hunters. Hunting is part of living with the nature and meat is not coming from a freezer in a shop that comes from animals who is killed by some persons mostly in another way, so it is. We still have to hunt moose’s to control the population. There is a car accident almost every day in our region of Värmland and folks are killed of got severe injury.
